Endermo Silhouette Montreal - Electrotherapy

What is Electrotherapy?

Electrotherapy consists in a range of beauty treatments that use low electric currents passed through the skin to produce therapeutic effects, such as cellulite reduction, weight loss, muscle toning and body sculpting.

The treatments are performed using fully computerised equipment designed to give either electro muscle stimulation (EMS), heat or both treatments to the body. Several different programs deliver varying strengths of stimulation in order to obtain fast and visible results in slimming and cellulite reduction.

The treatment is safe, non-invasive and pain-free.

The Treatment

The equipment pads are placed over specific parts of the body and used to send electrical impulses into the muscle, causing them to contract and relax simulating natural muscle movements. This activity speeds up the conversion of calories into heat, resulting in the breakdown of fat into energy, fluid retention reduction, body detoxification and a measurable inch and weight loss. It simulates normal exercise and helps break down cellulite. The computer varies the output speed and stimulation combination once every minute according to the chosen program until the treatment is fully complete. A typical session lasts 45 minutes. In order to get the desired results, two to three sessions a week for up to six weeks are recommended.
